“God and Jesus don’t do what they do by blasting a way through all opposition. They do what they do by working with the grain of the cosmos, by planting seeds that grow secretly, by calling humans to be cocreators.”—N. T. Wright ~Simply Jesus
I’m feelin’ this deconstructionist R&B suite single from Massachusetts duo Dane Orr and Anna Wise. So arty (in all the best ways), it even comes with it’s own artists’ statement:
this cut questions what separates Human from Animal. it opens like the dawn with the morning sun, bright and boisterous, with the energy of a gang of thirsty animals at a watering hole. Forget your responsibilities and dance around like a fool for 4 minutes and 51 seconds, after which we promise you will feel more alive. ~ Dane∞Anna

Gabriel Berrios moved to Miami “for different reasons, one of the main ones for me was to find out what really was going on this huge city that no one seems to care to much about… Sometimes it seems to me that the thought of something is better than what it actually is. Like when you see a building under construction. The more that’s left to the imagination, the better. Its the same way with Miami—this stale, bright jewel, some sort of luxury, and a very valid connection to my hispanic roots—and so I made these few songs to really explore it.”
